The Perfect Pair represents the idea that two great things, together, are greater than the sum of their individual parts. A gorgeous, warm scone is made even better by a glistening, ruby-red strawberry jam. A taut Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire takes on a new edge when paired with a briny raw oyster.
Laura Grimmer is a private chef and sommelier. Her company, The Perfect Pair, is all about food- and wine-related events for both Corporate and clients.
After a successful career in public relations in New York, Boston and Washington, D.C., she officially began her culinary career in 2012 with the six-month intensive grande diploma program at the French Culinary Institute (now the International Culinary Center) in New York's SoHo neighborhood. Alongside deans and French legends such as Jacques Pepin and Andre Soltner, she graduated first in her class.
Today, Laura marries her classical French culinary training with her love and knowledge of wine to create a range of food and wine-themed events.
